Grandpa was in town for work and had time for
a visit and dinner one evening. Here he is

When we asked B what she wanted for her birthday
she said Sophia... so that is the only friend she had over
that day - it worked great to keep a wee two year old
from feeling overwhelmed!
A few of our church friends (Brynnlee's adopted aunts
and uncles) and OF COURSE, Jill and her girls
celebrated with us! : ) We are so blessed to have someone
in the family live just an hour away!!!

Mom and Dad came to visit the second half of August and I did a TERRIBLE job of taking pictures with the real camera... kept using the silly phone so I could send them to Charlie and also to Eric who was in Phoenix for part of the visit. (work beckoned him to fly to AZ and stay at a golf resort in Scottsdale.... tough job... hehehe) : ) When I get the uploading from the phone down pat I will start doing some of those!

These are just a few of a bunch of pictures we have from our visit to IL and WI in August. It was a whirlwind tour to see family and enjoy the midwest in the Summer. We were pooped when we got home!

Long time, no BLOG... again...

Ok, things are undeniably busier lately.... Teagan has decided to keep her sweet, happy baby persona.... but has ceased to sleep. Ever. Some nights are better than others. I actually was able to sleep for a few hours in the beginning of the night, last night but then it was pretty much 1am, 2am, 3am, 4am, 5am, 6am and then up for good at 6:45am..... nutso. I run into the room where she sleeps and she stops crying and looks at me and smiles! I am thinking "ARE YOU KIDDING ME???"..... THIS is why God makes babies so darn cute! So we can't be mad at them when they wake us up for the fifteenth time in the same night!
Lately Eric has been my HERO. I literally got two hours of sleep the other night and was delirious in the morning.... so we stayed home all day and he left work early to come home and cook dinner! What a swell guy! : ) I might keep him. : )
I will now attempt to catch up on posting some pictures. May have figured out how to post from the iPhone so I can directly update the blog from there... but it might take me some time to actually have the process down. Maybe after a good nap.... haha : )
