hmm, what's in HERE?

Today we visited Bate's Nut Farm in Valley Center, CA. We carpooled with Michelle and Michael (22mos) and their friends (now our friends too!) Mindy, Danika (2 yo) and Payton (3mos). It was a full car and a fun hour long ride to the farm. Once we arrived I realized what a big day it would be. There were HUNDREDS of people there. It was CRAZY!
We met up with the group from the Armed Forces YMCA - where Brynnlee and I now attend Baby and Me - and the fun began! We took a group picture (my photography skills are not great so you will see I cut a few kids out in that first picture!) and then we went off to enjoy the hay ride. Brynnlee was pretty impressed by the bumpy ride around the farm but was really excited about simply running around screaming and seeing other children. She literally ran in circles until she would fall down. I had to laugh as she would approach children she did not know or had just met and would put her arms out to hug them. Maybe she IS her mother's child. : )
All in all it was a great day. Brynnlee was even able to bring home another pumpkin as a souvenir. Hope you enjoy the pictures and have a great weekend.
xoxo, Jennie
